Deaconess Folasade Oyeniyi

Folasade Olayinka Oyeniyi, the first of the six children of Chief James Agboola and Mrs Felicia Olabisi Adebayo indigenes of Oke-Onigbin in Kwara State, Nigeria was born on the 6th of June 1962 in Lagos, Nigeria.

She has a Degree in Language Arts, Post graduate Diploma in Education, Post graduate Diploma in Theology and Masters in Public Administration.

She joined the international Women’s Society in 1993 and she served as Hospitality Secretary, Assistant Membership Secretary, Membership Secretary and vice President before she was unanimously elected the 57th President of International Women’s Society in 2014. She is passionate about gender issues and committed to community services with special interest in creating safe space for Women and girl child. She has participated in Trainings, Seminars, Workshops, Talk shows on female based issues in and outside the shores of Nigeria.

As a long standing member of the young Women’s Christian Association, she served on the executive council and on the Board of Management of the world wide NGO for several years in Lagos Branch before elected as the Branch Chairman in 2012 and for a second term in 2014.

She is an Executive member of the Board of Management of the Lagos Cheshire Home; an International NGO which provides care and residential services for persons with physical disability. For her humanitarian and charitable pursuits, she received Recognitions, Accolades, and several Awards

A seasoned administrator and manager of human capital and material resources, she has to her credit over 30years experience in educational management and school administration. She is a member of the Nigerian institute of Management.

Currently, she is the Registrar / CEO of the C&S College of Divinity; the seminary of the C&S Movement Church. She is also a Director in Adfol Enterprise; a Management Training outfit that engages in educational advisory / consultancy services.

She is the current chairperson of the IWS LUTH Library Committee; the IWS charity outfit which circulates Books, magazines, Journals and all forms of general knowledge reading materials to patients on the sick bed at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital free of charge; to enable them relax, ease pains, kill boredom, while away time and bury their worries.

Deaconess Oyeniyi is an ordained Minister of the Gospel of Christ, a Disciple and a Mentor.
