Nkoli Ify Ogbolu- Vice President

Nkoli Ify Ogbolu nee Obi was born in Aba on January 12. Her mother was from Izekor -Ebadan family of Eko-Ewu in Ishan Central local government area of Edo State while her father hailed from Ogboli-Olosi village in Onitsha, Anambra State.

Her father’s career in Shell brought her and her then two siblings to Lagos where she started her primary education at Grace Children School.

Having attended the prestigious Queen’s College, Yaba, Lagos on Shell Scholarship, she went to the Federal School of Arts and Science Victoria Island, Lagos for her ‘A’ Levels.

She graduated with a B.Sc. in Mass Communication from the University of Lagos in 1981 majoring in broadcasting. Thereafter, Nkoli Ogbolu started her career as a journalist for a specialist entrepreneurial magazine, Nigerian Enterprise.

Her sojourn in advertising began in 1986, where she worked for a small advertising firm. She was later hired by Rosabel, a top notch advertising agency as a Senior Copywriter. She rose from there to become that agency’s first female Creative Director and one of the top 10 Copywriters in Nigeria. That career path has seen her travel for seminars and conferences in Europe, South Africa, Asia, America and East Africa. She is currently a full member of APCON as well as an examiner on Advertising Copywriting, Design, Printing and New Media.

Nkoli manages her own advertising and promotions consultancy with specialization in Public Sector Communications. The company, Stagecraft Promotions has created award winning campaigns for government and quasi-government bodies.

Nkoli is also MD of Stagecraft Promotions Ltd, current Chairperson of the International Women’s Society Skills Centre, Lekki, and immediate past secretary of the International Women’s Society, a not-for-profit organization improving the lives of women and youths. She is also the Secretary of the Queen’s College Old Girls’ Association and a trustee of Bobnel Child Support Foundation.

Nkoli Ogbolu is married and has three grown up children. Nkoli loves colors, fashion, travelling, counseling young women, intellectual discourse and creating ads. But most of all, she loves to hear the word of God from the Bible and from those whom God has given the gift of understanding spiritual matters.
